That's called the "Monthly Trial Balance" or "Interim Trial Balance."
Since this is early in the fiscal year, it helps a company make sure that their ledger balances are accurate before preparing financial statements.

If you're referring to making a trial balance after a month is completed, that's called an unadjusted trial balance.
The purpose of that is make sure your books are balanced now that a month has finished. It's prepared at the end of a reporting period, often a month, before any adjusting entries are made to the ledger accounts.
