What are business activities?

That's a pretty broad term that basically means whatever a business does to earn money. That could be making sales, buying inventory, paying expenses, and collecting cash. Business activities are the main things a company does to make money. Some of those are directly related to making money, and others might be indirect. Direct things would be delivering a product that was sold. Indirect might be paying an advertising service. They're both related to generating revenue though.
