Revenue that a government collects, or revenue collected from a government?

Some of the main sources of money for the government are taxes, like when people pay income tax or sales tax. They also get money from things like tariffs, license fees, post office income, etc.

Government revenue primarily comes from taxes. That would include income taxes, corporate taxes, and sales taxes.

They can also income from non-tax things like park fees, fines, tariffs, and sometimes income from state-owned businesses. The government can do investments as well.
